10 Month old ready for toddler bed?

10 Month old ready for toddler bed?
When should you move a baby from a crib to a toddler bed? He is 10 months old and can’t walk yet, but when you put him in his crib, he wakes up almost immediately and will not go back to sleep…but I put him in his brothers toddler bed (with pillows lining the bed…) since he is in preschool, He sleeps perfectly in the toddler bed? Could he be ready this early? Thanks in advance!
And if he’s not ready what can I do to get him to sleep in his crib?
I have put him in his crib to play during the day but he cries a blood curling scream when I leave the room to do anything, I only put him in his brothers bed at naptime when brother is at school.

My son is 28 months old and will only wear clothes that he picks himself?
It was cute at first :) but thismorning he was looking for his ‘thomas the tank engine‘ pants and they were in the wash, OMG he was devistated, he didnt want ANY other pants but those ones

Also, I’ll dress him, then half an hour later, he’ll come to me with a different shirt and want that one on instead

and the wierdest thing that happened was the other night, he came into my room at 3am with a different set of pj’s lol he was still half asleep so i just pulled him into my bed (without changing his clothes)

doesnt anyone else’s toddler do this?

Lol..Girl. My son just turned two February 25th. He does the same thing. One day I tried to put a sponge-bob shirt on him and he was not having it. He picked up his Tampa Bay Jersey and said he wanted that. So that’s what he wore. I guess they are getting to where they want to be independent. They are finding out they can do things by them self and are loving this new found coolness.

Possible signs of autism?

Possible signs of autism?
My son is 2, will be 3 on July 29th. My husband threw out a word today that scared me profusely. He is wondering if it is possible that our son is has autism. He has a speech delay, which we have him in speech therapy for. However I was looking up signs, and there are a few that every so often he will do. Like when he is playing with toys with wheels on them, he focuses on the wheel itself like spinning the wheel instead of the car as a whole. He will not let us watch anything but mickey mouse clubhouse & Thomas the tank engine on TV or he has a meltdown (I thought that was typical toddler til I read “child does not like change” as being a sign. The strangest thing of all though we noticed last Christmas & the past few months. Last Christmas we had a train table set up and he took every piece from our village that we had and put it in a straight line next to the track. I would move them back & he would put them back his way daily. Also, he has a train table that we bought him for Christmas. He would take the trains and line them up not on the track, but next to the track, and we had to screw the track down (he kept taking it apart) and he takes pennies that he finds and makes sure to cover each and every screw up. I think it’s just kind of strange, but my husband mentioned that it could mean with all the signs that he could have high functioning autism. Any moms or dad’s out there who have children who have autism who would be able to help me out?

Is he affectionate and social? Those are key indicators that he’s not autistic. What you’ve said doesn’t add up to autism and sounds like typical toddler boy behavior!

I’d ask his physician at the next appointment but don’t worry. I think he’s just a typical boy.
